The following classes are required of all Master Gardeners hoping to achieve the certification as an Advanced Master Gardener: Water Quality.  The classes have been arranged to satisfy all the learning requirements set forth in the Handbook for this program.  Both technical and programmatic training are required.  After the training period at Master Gardener College, each trainee will be expected to return to their unit and begin assessing community needs for water quality programs.  Eventually they will be required to establish a program in conjunction with their Unit Coordinator and/or Agent that satisfies some of the community’s needs for water quality.  As with any Master Gardener program there is a commitment to volunteer in your community, and it is part of the requirement for successful completion of your Advanced Master Gardener: Water Quality program.
